Our goal at Austin IC Design is to provide the Austin semiconductor industry with highly skilled mask design consultants. We fill the gap encountered by our customers when layout resources fall short of their project requirements. Specializing in full custom, high speed, high performance, digital and analog mask design, we have acquired a wide range of experience with various process technologies and design tools.
Austin IC is a full-service consulting corporation, not just a staffing agency. We have been in business since 1999 providing layout contractors to local Austin semiconductor companies. NXP, Freescale (Motorola) have been our primary clientele, but we have also been a supplier for Samsung, Silicon Labs, IBM and several start-up companies. We take pride in hiring only quality local designers with extensive knowledge, experience, and good work ethics. All of our consultants are W-2 employees of Austin IC and are fully insured and background screened. We are also able to offer a "team approach" for our clients, as many of our layout designers have worked together as a team for years.
In a field that seems dominated by independent contractors, "hired guns" and out-of-state staffing agencies, we recognize that some managers still prefer a local team approach to full custom I.C. layout.
